Adult Faith Formation challenges adult parishioners to recognize and further develop their on-going relationship with Jesus Christ.
Adult Faith Formation is a spirtitual journey by which people consciously grow in the life of Christ through experience, prayer, reflection and study. These steps are fundamental aspects of our catechetical enterprise.

The Article of the Week is a feature article taken from various magazines on prayer and spirituality. Holy Cross Parish has obtained permission from the editors of these magazines to reproduce these articles.
Spiritual Direction involves a guide or companion assisting another discern the movement of the Spirit in his life. It is listening to another and together discerning the call of God. It also involves learning how to pray as well as learning different forms of prayer. In addition, it also explores how to become more aware of God 's presence in your life.
Adult Faith Formation invites and enables the ongoing conversion to Jesus in holiness of life. It also promotes and supports active membership in the christian community. Calls and prepares adults to act as disciples in the mission of the church.
There are many retreats available to Holy Cross parishioners in the local and surrounding areas. A yearly retreat would be a wonderful way to enrich and nurture your spiritual life.

Prayer groups provide a apportunities to nurture and share faith with other like minded Catholics. There are several prayer groups that are open to new members. If you would like to start a prayer group contact the Adult Faith Formation office.
