The Sacrament of Baptism is the first step affirming our intention to belong to Christ and live out our choice within a vibrant Christian community. We emerge from the waters of Baptism filled with the Spirit initiated into a life-long journey of faith, of grace and of discovering the sacred in all of God's creation.  Parents are required to attend Baptism workshops prior to their child's Baptism. these workshops are held on the first Sunday of every other month (February, April, June, August, October, December) at 2:00 pm in the Calais Religious Education Center. Baptisms are celebrated on the First Sunday of every month.
