The Sacrament of Confirmation reaffirms what God has already given us in Baptism as we receive the outpouring of the Holy Spirit. Through Confirmation all of us, as the People of God, are empowered to practice our faith in the ordinary circumstances of our lives: at home, at work, and in the social and political arena.
